What's In The Box? & Testing BzzAgent October 2017

Hey Everyone!

Welcome back! I’ve been testing Glade Plugins Car with my Mom, since the plugin is in her car. (Click Here to the Video)  Any product that can freshen a car up I’m happy to try out.

We were excited to try Glade Plugins Car. It’s a simple device to use, add your refill, close lid and plug in to car port and you’re ready to go. Now depending where your car port is at and if you have a gear handle down in the middle console or not. With my Mom’s car, she has her gear handle in the middle console and where her car port is, is where her hand bangs against the Glade Plugin and that’s not good! It sticks out too much and it’s in the way a lot. We can’t smell the scent even on high level.  Mom’s rating is 3 out of 5 stars and for me it’s 2 out of 5 stars. We’re not getting refills. I’m going to finish still, it’s almost done anyways and give the device to someone else and give them a refill as well.

Review "Here and Gone" by Haylen Beck

Hey Everyone!

Welcome Back! You Miss ME? I Miss YOU! Alright, enough with the mussy stuff. Here we have an author I have never heard of, which is always exciting. It's like meeting a new friend. When I was researching this book, I read that "Haylen Beck" is not his real name it's Stuart Neville! Then I researched him and found out he was a known author from Northern Ireland, also here in the U.S.. He has won awards for his best known book The Ghosts of Belfast (American Edition of The Twelve), has a total of 8 Novels out, including Here and Gone. He seems to be doing well for his career! Congratulation!! Now why did he use a pen name for his recent book? Who knows and who cares! As long as he can make a great book, which he did, it shouldn't matter if he's using a pen name! Let me tell you what Here and Gone is about.

Book Cover
It deals with a mother, Audra, who escapes from an abusive husbad and tries to start fresh with her 2 children, Sean and Louise. While she drives from New York to California, she's stopped by an Arizona Sheriff in the middle of the desert. While he searches thru their belongings, he finds a bag of drugs, which she has never seen in her trunk. Thinking the worst has come, she didn't know it's just the beginning.

Let's talk about the PROS & CONS

PROS
  • Great story line
  • Love Sean & Danny (characters)
  • Suspenseful
  • Thriller
  • Point of View from Mother, both kids and Danny
CONS
  • Predictable
  • Won't read twice
Their wasn't much dislike, which is great! If I could give this book a 3.5 stars on Goodreads I would, but sadly it doesn't. So I gave 3 stars. I enjoyed every word in the book. Its a good starter for new thriller readers. I was able to read this book in 3 days and for me that's fast! Is it worth the buy? For me personally, NO. Why? Because $15-$20 is not my range in buying a book. I usually get my books from Dollar Stores or The Salvation Army store or the Public Library (which I have not done in YEARS!). I'm even gotten books as gifts. But since this book is a NEW and only been out since June 20, 2017, YES, it's not a bad price for a new book and theirs other books out their that are way more expensive.

Where can you buy the book? Click on any of them to go and buy the book.

Review "Surviving Death: A Journalist Investigates Evidence of the Afterlife" By Leslie Kean

Hey Everyone!

When a book can get a reaction out of you, may it be crying, laughing, excitement, etc., its a good book. Love it when a book can make you go through emotions. Books got to have a great story line, characters, creative imagination or in this case great research. Investigative journalist and author Leslie Kean has two books under her belt, this current book Published March 7, 2017 and "UFOs: Generals, Pilots, And Government Officials Go On The Record" Published August 2, 2011.

                                                                 No Spoilers Ahead
Book Cover
Lets jump into this review! I've always had the interest of life after death, but not only does this book explore life after death, it also explores reincarnation, coming back to life, mediums/psychics (different elements to their abilities), and kinesis (different kinds). This book has many researchers work, not only her work, but works of MDs (Doctor of Medicine), MSW (Master Social Worker), PhDs (Doctor of Philosophy), DLitt (Doctor of Letters), and MS (Master of Science). All these researchers had put their work, in this book, for us readers to understand "Surviving Death". Some of the work is also personal experience, others experience, control testing, and etc. It is so well written and researched, I am amazed of all the hard work Leslie and others had put into the book.

The book cover is a clean look, kinda blinding and if you take the cover off, my gosh the book is so white I feel like I need to put a pair of gloves on just so I don't have finger prints on it. I didn't though just put on paper bag cover on the book. Now before you ask why don't you just use the sleeve it comes with. I just don't like having the sleeve on when I read, I take it off put it somewhere it won't get damaged and then I read or paper bag cover especially if their that white. Its going to have Hot Cheetos prints on it if I didn't put the cover on. As you read on throughout the book, it will open up your mind and make you think, "Is it possible?" Its such an exciting book, you don't really want to put the book down. Some parts may be calm of a read, but the most part it's a fast read, which for me it's reading it under a year. I'm the slowest reader there is, I'll be super happy when I get it done in within a couple of months, ecstatic when done within a week. Enjoyed all the different directions they went to dismiss any kind of fake facts or anything that will contaminate the testings. I mean they get down to business, they're no joke, they want to make sure their work is as authentic and true to any evidence they come across. Did I mention I LOVE the hard work that's been put into this....well I'm saying it again!!!

                                                               πŸ“– Favorite Quotes πŸ“–
  • "In these pages I will take you on a journey into this world." pg. 2 Line 8
  • "Yet, this is far from a catalog of evidence for the survival of bodily death." (Its more for the phrase "survival of bodily death") pg. 2 Line 20
Now the question is, is it worth buying? I enjoyed reading it. If your into reading research, paranormal, nonfiction, and spirituality kind of books I say it's worth buying. It's just my opinion, I'm not here to tell you what you should or should not read. Its all up to you!

Smiley360 Unboxing and Testing July 2016

Hey Everyone!

Welcome back, if you couldn't tell already from the title I have tested the KABOOM No Drip Foam Mold & Mildew Remover Stain Remover with Bleach! Now that's a mouth full. (DON'T SPRAY IN YOUR MOUTH!!!)

Well, that's said, I was sent a full size product. It's a 30oz spray bottle. Now before getting into the cleaning, you should wear something you don't care about; which I call "Don't give a Fuck" clothes, afterall you will be working with bleach. Also make sure your windows are open or bathroom vents are on because the vapor in the spray is really strong. My vent didn't work and after being in their for awhile I was having a hard time breathing. So learn from me, at least put a fan in with you or step out.

Now to the cleaning. Its plain and simple. Twist the spray part to On unlike me who tried to spray with it on STOP! Genius I am... NOPE! I like it when its a foam form, why you may ask. For me its a personal preference, but it also seems to work better because of the thick foam, it coats the gunk in the shower especially the grime on the shower doors.  When you spray the foam stays put (don't let it sit too long), unlike the liquid sprays it drips down the wall. I just let it sit for about 5 seconds, then scrub it all down, finally I used the shower hose to rinse it all down. The shower doors on the outside I sprayed, scrubbed, then used a paper towel to "rinse" off the foam. That's all there is to it. Nothing difficult about it.

Price baby! Surprisingly its cheap. You can find it at Wal-mart or Target starting at about $3.88/$3.89. I say it's worth the price. If you want to see this product in action head over to my YouTube Channel link down below with all my Social Media links as well. Thank-you for taking the time to read and checking out this product.

Review: "The Roanoke Girls" by Amy Engel

Hey Everyone!

Ever had a book that you just couldn't put down because it's too good? Well...I just  found one and this book is amazing I could NOT put it down for the life of me. Right off the back, it's not for everyone, it may disturb some people. 17/18 years old looks like the right age to read this book. Let's continue. This book is enticing, mysterious, it had you thinking at times, it also made me feel sad, angry, shocked and relief. First off, when I read the title, I thought it was going to be about the Roanoke Colony a.k.a. The Lost Colony. Oh how happy I was wrong. Let's talk about the cover of this book. It has black and white photos in picture frames made out of wood, all girls except for the farmhouse in the middle. Usually when I see black and white photos I think of the dark side; like bad experience or horrible life, excreta.
Book Cover
This is Amy's first Adult Novel and I give 5 stars here and on Goodreads! It's an incredible read. You will not be disappointed. I love the little things she had put into it, like her book cover and some writings her character has done. What you see is "carved" words onto any kind of woods in the house. It's a different kind of format from the rest of the book.
Page 248
The story is about Lane Roanoke, 15 years old, lost her mother and she was left alone. So she thought, little did she know she has family from her mother's side. She knew nothing of them and now she's been shipped to Osage Flats, Kansas in the summer time and picked up by the families handy man, Charlie. Takes her to Roanoke Farmhouse, meets the family; Gran (Lillian), Granddad (Yates), Allegra (cousin), Sharon (maid/cook; horrible cook). Later that summer Lane will know the disturbing/dark secret of the family and will leave, away from Roanoke. Only to come back, 11 years later because Allegra has gone missing! She wasn't sure what to think, did she run as well? I won't say more, but I will show you the first sentence.

First Sentence page 3
The sentence alone brought you in. You want to know WHY, why would she do that to her kid. Of course, you will find out later on in the book. There's a quote in the book "Roanoke girls never last long around here. In the end, we either run or we die." (page 12) That quote made me think a lot, now why would Allegra say that. Was she just telling Lane scary stories or was their a deeper meaning to it?
This book definitely had me hooked and it is a well written story. I'm very glad I picked this book over the other options I had. Now if all books can get me just as interested in the story as I did with this I would be set for life. I also love the fact that when someone packed my book for delivery it says how handled my package...SHOUTOUT to D. Hann for taking sure care of the package and the mail man for not destroying my package and the hard work D. Hann had did. Thank-you!

Review: Bonita VoxBox

Hey Everyone!

Influenster has sent me a Bonita VoxBox. Inside the VoxBox you can read from my Unboxing Blog or YouTube Video. This post is the reviewing portion. They have sent me these products to test out and give my honest opinion. Let's begin!

Bonita VoxBox

Starting off with Dickinson's Enhanced Witch Hazel Aolchol-Free Hydrating Toner...damn, such a mouthful. It's suppose to hydrate and nourish your skin. It cleanses, tone, refreshes skin and removes impurities.  I've been trying this out for about 2 weeks. My skin is a combo, but mostly oily type. I use a cottonball to apply the Toner, at first, it's refreshing as soon as it touches skin, dries like if I've been in the desert, but this is only a couple of days of using, skin trying to adjust. Felt burning when I rubbed it on, so I switched to dabbing (lol Dab) it on, then slowly rub over. For some odd reason it worked that way, I'm happy, no burning sensation. Skin is improving, I did breakout a bit, but it seems more from my oily side than the Toner side. It's a lot smoother than normal, definitely help control breakouts, hydrates my dry spots. I say HELL YEAAAAAAHHHH to this product.

2 Weeks After

Revlon had launched new lip color a in Ultra H.D. Matte and Super Lustrous Lipstick. Sadly, but still appreciative, it's a very small amount of a sample. I had enough to swatch and put on lips for a day or so, but not for the whole two weeks. I will say this, both have beautiful colors and pigments are there. Ultra H.D. Matte is Obsession, a hot pink color, smells like koolaid (tropical fruit, kind of...some kind of sweet koolaid), color holds on to lips pretty well, it may smudge, but it stains your lip like a stainer (sometime). It's a bit drying to the lips, like a need chapstick and transfers to pretty much everything. Super Lustrous is Blushing Mauve, a dusty rose, glides on nicely and creamy texture feel. Doesn't have a scent. Comes off easily, but your lips feel moisterized. I feel like these are a Yes and No kind of products. Mixed feelings about it.

Swatches. One/Two Time use sample.

Fiber One 90 Calories Chocolate Fudge Brownies. Just hearing fudge Brownie  makes me drool LOL. If you're a Chocolate Lover, then you'll love this. It's so chocolaty and no taste of fiber at all. So soft and yummy when you bite into it. Bite of Heaven I would call it. Totally good for you, no matter how much you hate fiber, this is the best way to sneak fiber in. Fiber needs to be in a persons life because if you don't then someone is going to be plugged up and you wouldn't want that happening.

One Time use sample. No after picture lol.

Madam C.J. Walker Beauty Culture Dream Come True Wonderful.... nope, I take it back, THIS is a mouthful to say! OoOoOh snap! This hair treatment is freaking amazing! I would totally recommend this to everyone. It worked wonders on my hair. You would use this product once a week. I used the Pre-Wash Protein Treatment (Reconstructing & Rebuilding) first, it says it will strengthen and prevents breakage, restoring and rebuilding dry, brittle strands damaged from coloring hair, heat styling and from being outside all day. Then the Deep Conditioning Masque(Hydrating & Conditioning), conditions and puts moisture back into your stands, helps dry and damaged or color-treated hair. My hair became soft to the touch, minimized frizz, ends felt softer than ever (it felt like super dry Hays before this product) and smelled amazing (like lotion "original" smell with no scents). Don't like the waiting period, but it's a must to get the results. Would you like to know how to use the product? CLICK HERE.

One Time use sample.

Last but not least, SinfulColors. A callab with Kylie Jenner. Fans of hers will love it. Personally I'm not a fan of Hera, but I DO NOT judge a product by the Creator. That's why we(other product testers) and I try them out. I was provided with Mad Matter (porcelain matte polish). I was not loving the color at first, but when I was testing it out, the color was looking nicer each day LOL.  You have to build the color up, 2-3 coats max. Doesn't have a long lasting wear, unless you put a clear coat, but then it doesn't have a matte color. Looks like a really washed out bubble gum. You can find the Satin Collection at Target. Velvet Collection at Walgreens. If you want both in one place, Satin & Velvet Collection at Ulta.

Many Time Use. Don't Mind the messy nail lol.

Now this VoxBox is really impressing. I'm very glad to be Part of it and hope to be part of more VoxBoxes.

     Thank-you to....

Up In Flames *Warning: Spoiler*

Hey Everyone!

Yes I know, big blog gap between the last and now. Read half, but then I forgot about it. I AM SORRY!

If you've read my blog "How You Feel About Books?" Then there's a good chance you know what's going on. Now, by any chance you're new or happened to stumble upon the blog. It's a review for a book I just read, which boook you ask?!?! Bitter Harvest: A Woman's Fury, A Mother's Sacrifice by Ann Rule, originally published in 1997. If you're a fan of Ann Rule and haven't heard, she passed away July 26, 2015.

The saying goes "Don't judge a book by its cover." Let's get real.....YES WE DO! When I first look at a book, I decide if it' will be a good book or not. If that doesn't work then I move on to reading a summary from a random page. Picture of the cover above. My book looks beaten, but you can still see the cover. This book was given to me years ago and it was used.

                 Here Starts the Spoiler

Book Edition of 1999 Illustrated, Reprint, Paperback

                        About the Book

Book is based on Dr. Debora Green and her family; husband(ex) Micheal Farrar and their 3 children's; Timothy, 13, Lissa,10, Kelly, 6 and their pet dog, Boomer. On October 23-24, 1995, their home was on fire, Lissa was able to escape. Micheal at the time didn't live with them, had an another woman and he was going through a divorce, but not yet official. Tim, Kelly and Boomer we're killed in the fire. Micheal didn't want to believe Debora had deliberately done it. November 22, 1995, Debora got arrested, charged with murder, arson, 2 counts of attempted murder. Defense Attorney (D.A.) Paul Morrison and Rick Guinn believed they had enough evidence to send her to trial and sentence her to a death penalty. Got to present the evidence to Judge Peter Ruddick at the hearing and see if they'll get their trial. As the evidences starts to pile up against Debora, her attorneys, Dennis Moore and Kevin Moriarty, would accuse a dead boy; Timothy, her oldest and only son. Who they place blame on for setting the fire. Little proof was provided. A hearing is for the jury (the people) to sentence, not the judge. With that said, her attorneys noticed they might not win. Told her she needs to take a plea bargain. She said yes. Micheal agreed to it for Lissa's sake. Which means instead of getting the death penalty she'll be doing 40 years in prison. May 30, 1996, she was sentenced with the convictions of 2 counts of first-dregree murder, 2 counts of attempted first-degree murder and 1 count of aggravated arson.

3 parts to the book.

                            Review

This book had me like a roller coaster. Couldn't decide if I love it or hate it. It's the bad case of love/hate relationship. Would give this 3 out of 5 stars. 3 parts in the book. There were some chapters that were not necessary. Didn't like how it had so much of her childhood or school life. Yeah, I understand it was for us readers to have in mind of what kind of person she was. Still obviously people will change after high school even during their college years. Book had some pictures, not a lot. Wouldn't read this again. Not only because it wasn't amazing, but I just don't read books more than once. I've always been that way. If you're a true crime lover, give this book a try. I read, I didn't enjoy it, maybe you will.

Feel free to let me know if you enjoyed the blog.
Thank-you for your time.
